JBM Leather recommends that you read all product information provided by JBM Leather such as FAQ, Warranty, Returns, Care for Product, Etc. By paying for your products, you are confirming that you accept all of our JBM Leather Terms & Conditions.

It is important that you understand that any Custom Made items cannot be returned due to order errors or change of mind. Please see Warranty and Returns sections.

This website is operated by JBM Leather. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to JBM Leather. JBM Leather offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Our store is hosted on Squarespace. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Our Payments are hosted by Stripe and Paypal. They provide us with the online payment platforms that allows use to sell our products and services to you

Warranty

At JBM Leather, we stand by the quality of our craftsmanship. Due to the ‘Unique’ nature of our products, we have a strict Warranty and Returns Policy.

JBM Leather offers a 12 Month Australian Warranty on the Manufacturing and Workmanship of our products. If you notice any manufacturing defects within the first 12 months of ownership, please contact us immediately and we will rectify any issues at our discretion. (Warranty is NOT valid outside of Australia).

Our 12 Month Warranty commences from the date of order/ purchase. Please refer to you order documentation for this date. If you cannot find your Warranty Commencement date, please contact us.

Please Note: 12 Month warranty ONLY applies to manufacturing defects. If your product does not comply with our warranty standards, JBM Leather takes no responsibility for damages. If you are returning an item to be repaired under warranty, please ensure that your product is delivered in the original packaging or in approved JBM Leather packaging. For more information on packaging, please contact us.

Please see a list below of all damages that are not covered by our JBM Leather Warranty.

Certain circumstances are beyond our control, Please note that we cannot be responsible for the following issues and they are NOT covered by our warranty:

  • All Zips, Clips, Binding and Straps are not covered by our warranty

  • Delays in Delivery of products once posted

  • Product mistreatment by customer:

    • Material damage caused by dragging over rough surfaces

    • Damage where sharp corners/edges rub material

    • Stretching of material where you hold or lift items

    • Stretching of material/seams/zips due to over filling and mistreatment

    • Damage where product may drag or catch on other objects

    • General wear and tear from use, including balding of hair on hides and Natural Patina of Leather.

    • Damage where other objects or people may rub against the product

    • Damages to other objects that come into contact with your product, including but not limited to clothing, furniture and upholstery.

    • Material damage due to sharp objects rubbing or penetrating material

    • Over straining/stretching of seams

    • Creasing or tears made by jamming fabric between objects.

    • Creasing or tears due to mistreatment

    • Staining from liquids, solvents and other chemical use

    • Staining from bodily fluids, including but not limited to blood and urine. (Also includes fluids from pets and animals.)

    • Material damage due to improper cleaning techniques and solutions

    • Any wear, tear, damage or staining from pets or animals

    • Damages caused by using product on an unclean item/surface.

  • Colour fading of materials.

  • Damage to materials due to exposure to weather. Including but not limited rain, Sun/UV exposure, extreme heat, fire, flooding, etc.

Shipping & Delivery

We offer FREE Standard Shipping Australia Wide via Australia Post.

JBM Leather is not responsible for any Delays, Damage, Issues or Inconveniences that may occur by the Postal Service.

 

Returns, Refunds & Change of Mind

In the event that you wish to return your product due to change of mind, you must first contact us. Products are to be returned in their original packaging or alternative packaging approved by JBM Leather. Return Postage is at the cost of the Customer. Products must be unused and in BRAND NEW – RE SALEABLE CONDITION for a Refund to be processed. Once a product is returned to us, if approved in the return’s inspection process, we will refund or exchange for the amount of your purchase. Please note that any items that are on Sale or Clearance are not able to be returned or refunded.

Custom made orders: We do not offer a returns policy on any of our customer made products. Once you have paid for your product, we are unable to amend, refund or cancel your order. By paying for your products, you hereby accept all of our Terms & Conditions.

If you wish to change your order after purchase, please contact us immediately. We can only amend your order before it gets to the dispatch stage; (or for custom order, before it gets to the production stage). For any order changes after this time, please see Returns Policy.

Order Delivery

Delivery System: - Once your order been processed, it will be handed on to the Postal Service. Please Note that JBM Leather is not responsible for the delivery service and any issues this may incur. You will be provided with an official Tracking Number for your parcel(s) once they begin delivery. All Parcels will require a ‘Signature on Delivery’. Estimated Postage Time may vary at the discretion of the Delivery Company. If you wish to purchase Insurance on your package, this will be an additional cost.

Lost Delivery: - If you believe that your order has been lost during delivery, please contact us immediately.

Caring for your product

We understand that sometimes accidents happen and something may get spilled on your product.

In most cases, a soft clean cloth will remove most spills on leather. In the event that you have spilled something on the Hair on Hide Product, we recommend using a damp (wrung out) soft cloth to gently wipe in the direction that the hair lays on your product.

Please do not wet your leather products as they may permanently stain

Do NOT Rub or Scrub your product while cleaning. ONLY use light gentle motions to ensure that you do not damage your product.

Please Note: JBM Leather does NOT recommend that you use any other cleaning techniques or solutions on your product, as it can damage the integrity of your material and will void your warranty. If you do use any other cleaning techniques or solutions, you must do so at your own risk.

 

Mistakes

Order Mistakes (Customer): - If an order is considered to contain mistakes that are due to errors made in the Ordering Process, they will not be covered by Factory Warranty. We recommend that you closely check your order details before paying your invoice. We also recommend closely checking all measurements and handwritten details as sometimes handwriting can be difficult to read and misunderstood. Once your invoice has been paid, this is taken as confirmation for your product order. This means, after your invoice is paid, we are unable to amend, refund or cancel your order, and you have agreed to JBM Leather Terms & Conditions.

Order Mistakes (Factory): - Sometimes mistakes happen. If you do receive any items by mistake in your order please let us know and we will arrange the best possible resolution of the issue. If you are missing items on your order, please contact us immediately and we will send you the correct, missing items as soon as possible.

Manufacturing Mistakes: - We take great pride in our work and always deliver products of our best quality. If you receive your order and you believe it contains manufacturer mistakes, do not use the item, Please contact us immediately and we will rectify the issue under our warranty conditions. 

 

Items received not as described

If you receive an order that you believe is not as described, please contact us immediately.

If the product defects are at the fault of the manufacturer, please see our ‘Warranty’ section.

Refusal of Order

JBM Leather reserves the right to refuse an order for any reason. Please be aware that we are a small company with a big website, and from time to time some order requests are outside of our manufacturing range.

Email Confirmation

During the ordering process, you will need to make sure that you carefully read all aspects of correspondence about your order. If for any reason you believe details provided to be false or incorrect, please contact us immediately.

JBM Leather strives to offer the best products and service possible.

If for any reason you are unhappy about any part of your service or purchase, please contact us as soon as possible.

We do wish to have unhappy customers and would love the chance to resolve the matter to the best of our ability.

Privacy Policy

JBM Leather will only collect and use the details that you have provided for Delivery Purposes.

We use secure Third-Party Payment options, including Stripe and Paypal, which means that we do not have access to your payment data. Any information and details that you provide via these payment options will be in accordance with their individual Terms of Service and Privacy Policies, therefore JBM Leather cannot be help liable for any breaches, discrepancies or issues that may occur via these services. Terms of Service

1 - Online Store Items

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

Text Marketing and notifications:

By entering your phone number in the checkout and initializing a purchase, subscribing via our subscription form or a keyword, you agree that we may send you text notifications (for your order, including abandoned cart reminders) and text marketing offers. Text marketing messages will not exceed 8 a month. You acknowledge that consent is not a condition for any purchase.

If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving text marketing messages and notifications reply with STOP to any mobile message sent from us or use the unsubscribe link we provided you within any of our messages. You understand and agree that alternative methods of opting out, such as using alternative words or requests will not be accounted as a reasonable means of opting out.
